House cleaning for working parents in Frederick County

Both of you work, the kids have practice, and the house is the thing that never gets done. We clean it on a schedule while everyone is out, weekly or every other week, so the weekend starts with the bathrooms done and the floors clean instead of with a list. A team of two takes about an hour or two per visit, depending on the home after the first clean, and the same products we use everywhere are made from salt, water and electricity, so there’s no chemical smell when the kids walk in from the bus.

The service that fits is recurring regular cleaning. Call (301) 698-9204 or send us the basics.

What we do differently

Nobody home. About half our customers give us a key, which is number-coded, locked in the office at night, and carries nothing that identifies your address. A garage code or a door code works as well. For an alarm, give us a code of our own or turn it off when our arrival text comes.

The day. Pick the day that sets up your week: Friday for the weekend, Monday for the reset. We text the day before with an arrival window between 8 am and 4 pm, and we can usually honor a morning or afternoon request.

The kids’ rooms. Pick up toys, clothes and clutter before we come so the team can reach the surfaces; we don’t need the house clean, just picked up. A closed door means don’t clean that room, which is useful when a teenager’s room is a lost cause that week.

What we skip and what we add. Dishes and laundry aren’t on the list, but they can be added for extra time. So can the inside of the fridge before a birthday party, or the windows before grandparents visit. Tell the office before the day.

Changing weeks. Practice moves, somebody’s sick, school’s out. Two business days’ notice and we move the visit, no charge.

What it takes

A first clean of about three hours for a team of two in a typical three-bedroom home, because the first visit is where the built-up work is. Then about an hour or two per visit, depending on the home, weekly or every other week. Weekly keeps a busy house close to clean; every other week is our most common schedule.

We clean for working parents all over Frederick County, including Urbana, New Market, Walkersville, Middletown, Monrovia, Jefferson, Myersville and Adamstown. See every town we serve.

Who this isn’t for

A one-time clean before a party is the deep cleaning page. A family expecting a baby has its own page: before and after a new baby. If one of you works from home, see when you work from home.

How to start

Get a cleaner, greener, healthier home. Call (301) 698-9204, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, or send us the basics and we’ll call you back the same day with a free, no-commitment estimate. If you reach out over the weekend, we’ll get back to you on the next business day. For recurring service we like to see the home first; it takes a few minutes. All of who we clean for.

Two people in Maid Brigade uniforms clean a large bathroom—one wipes the sink counter with a red cloth while the other cleans a high cabinet near a freestanding tub.

Everything on this site is real: the people, the photos, the reviews. We use software to help us organize and check our work, and a person at our Frederick office wrote and approved every page.
