What we clean
A team of two cleans every room on a set list: bathrooms scrubbed and disinfected, kitchen counters and appliance fronts, dusting from the ceiling fans down to the baseboards, all floors vacuumed and mopped. Once, on a schedule, or on call, where you call us when you want a visit.
Weekly, every other week or monthly, with a regular team assigned to your home. Most homes start with a deep first clean and take about an hour or two per visit after that, depending on the home.
The same list with more time, for a first visit, a party, a listing or the holidays. Add inside the oven, the fridge, the cabinets or the windows as you need them.
The standard clean plus inside every cabinet, closet and appliance, and the baseboards, door frames and windowsills washed. Charged by the hour.
The same clean, sized for the space, with the parking and building access worked out before the first visit.
Offices only. We don’t take medical facilities, warehouses or industrial work.
We make our two main cleaners in the office from salt, water and electricity, with Green Seal certified chemistry and an EPA-registered disinfectant. No chemical smell when you walk in, just a clean one.

Who we are
Rachel Epperly started cleaning homes in 1989 and has owned the Rockville Maid Brigade office since 1994. She bought the Frederick office in 2018 from its previous owner, who had run it since 1989 and asked Rachel to take it on when she retired. Since then we’ve replaced the equipment, moved the office to Thomas Johnson Drive, and changed how we clean. Duane Epperly is the other owner, our IT guy and Mr. Fix-It.
LaShae Lawton runs the Frederick office. She has been with us since 2008, started in the field, does the in-home visits and inspections, and answers the phone, the texts and the email when you need to reschedule or ask anything. Local owners, on site and serving, and an office that picks up.
Our technicians are employees, bonded and insured, with workers’ compensation and a background check on every hire. Field staff have been with us seven years on average; supervisors, ten. We clean about 60 homes a week in Frederick County.

If you reach out over the weekend, we’ll get back to you on the next business day. For recurring service we like to see the home first; for a one-time or deep clean we quote by the hour over the phone. Two business days’ notice to change or cancel a visit.
If any area we cleaned isn’t right, call the office within 24 hours and we come back within one business day to re-clean it at no charge.
Everything on this site is real: the people, the photos, the reviews. We use software to help us organize and check our work, and a person at our Frederick office wrote and approved every page.
