House cleaning before and after a new baby in Frederick County
Before the due date, a deep clean: the nursery high-dusted from the ceiling fan down, the baseboards, under the furniture, the bathrooms scrubbed, the kitchen done. After the baby comes, regular visits timed around naps, so the house stays clean while you’re not sleeping. Our cleaners are made in our office from salt, water and electricity, with no fragrance and nothing left on the surfaces, which is the thing most parents ask about first.
Before: deep cleaning. After: recurring cleaning. Call (301) 698-9204 or send us the basics.
Tell Us About Your Home
Before the baby
Book the deep clean for the last few weeks, once the nursery is set up, so it’s clean when it’s finished and not before. A team of two takes about three hours in a typical three-bedroom home. Add the inside of the fridge and the oven if you’re about to fill them with freezer meals, and the windows if you want the light in. Ask for PUREmist too: it’s our electrostatic sprayer that puts the disinfectant into the places a cloth can’t reach, it’s on request at no extra charge, and before a baby comes home is one of the times people ask for it most.
After the baby
Tell us when the naps are. We text the day before with an arrival window between 8 am and 4 pm and can usually honor a morning or afternoon request, but we can’t promise an exact time, and we do run a vacuum. A closed door means don’t clean that room; tell the office if it’s closed because the baby’s asleep, and the team will do that room another visit.
You’ll be home, probably. We only ask that you check each area after the team finishes it, and tell the supervisor if anything needs more work.
Weekly or every other week. A new baby doubles the laundry and the dishes, and those aren’t on our list, but they can be added for extra time. Most families start every other week and tighten up to weekly if the house needs it.
We clean for new parents all over Frederick County, including Urbana, New Market, Frederick, Ijamsville, Monrovia, Adamstown, Point of Rocks and Libertytown. See every town we serve.
What’s in the products
Two cleaners, a degreaser and a hypochlorous acid disinfectant, made by an Annihilare system in our office. The chemistry is Green Seal certified and the disinfectant is registered with the EPA. There’s no perfume, no bleach, and no residue on the counters, the floor or the changing table. If you want to read what’s in them, start with green cleaning.
Who this isn’t for
If the house needs more than cleaning, say so when you call and we’ll tell you what we can do. We don’t do laundry service, meal prep or organizing; organizing is a separate one-on-one service. Once the baby’s older and the house is back on a schedule, you’re a working parent and that page is yours.
How to start
Get a cleaner, greener, healthier home. Call (301) 698-9204, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, or send us the basics and we’ll call you back the same day with a free, no-commitment estimate. If you reach out over the weekend, we’ll get back to you on the next business day. If a grandparent or a friend wants to pay for the first clean as a gift, the office can set that up: gift certificates are any amount from $140, printed or by email, and a deep clean in the first weeks home is the one new parents remember. All of who we clean for.

Everything on this site is real: the people, the photos, the reviews. We use software to help us organize and check our work, and a person at our Frederick office wrote and approved every page.
