House cleaning while you’re away in Frederick County
You’re not there much, and you want to walk into a clean house when you are. We keep a key, clean on a schedule or before you arrive, text the day before each visit, and charge the card on file the next business day. You’ll know when we were there and what we did, and you never have to be home for it.

What we do differently
The key. About half our customers keep a key with us. Keys are number-coded, locked in the office at night, checked out by the team in the morning and returned in the afternoon, and carry nothing that identifies the address. A door code or a garage code works too. For an alarm, give us a code of our own.
The schedule. Monthly for a house that’s mostly empty. Before each arrival if you come and go on dates you know. Weekly or every other week if someone else uses the house, a tenant, a parent, grown kids. Tell the office your dates and we’ll build around them.
The text. The day before every visit you get a text with the arrival window, wherever you are. If you need to add something to that visit, the inside of the fridge before you land, say, reply or call the office before the day.
Paying. A card on file, charged the next business day after each visit. No cash, no checks to leave out.
Changing plans. Two business days’ notice to move or skip a visit, no charge. If the team arrives and can’t get in, there’s a $50 lock-out fee, so keep the key and codes current with the office.
What it takes
A first clean of about three hours for a team of two in a typical three-bedroom home, then about an hour or two per visit, depending on the home. A house that’s been empty a while is dusty more than dirty; the regular visit covers it.

Who this isn’t for
We clean the house. We don’t check on it, bring in the mail, water the plants, or manage it between visits, and we don’t do outdoor work. A short-term rental between guests is a turnover, which is the landlords and realtors page. If you’re home more than you’re away and you just work long hours, the working parents page or when you work from home is closer.
